Angela Archer and Carmen Broesder came together with a shared vision: to develop sustainable, community-oriented solutions that meet people where they are. From that vision, SkyStone Vale LLC was created—a for-profit business model built with minimal overhead and a maximum focus on compassion, purpose, and long-term impact.

Angela brings extensive experience in operations and logistics, paired with a passion for building systems that work for real people. Carmen, with a strong background in nonprofit leadership and service delivery, saw the opportunity to bridge infrastructure, care, and autonomy.

Together, they combined their skill sets to launch SkyStone Vale—starting with campgrounds and transitional stays designed not just for overnight use, but for reconnection, stability, and dignity. As the project grows, so does the vision: to create spaces that foster belonging, support self-determination, and contribute to resilient, values-driven communities.

 We are proud to partner with Unity Harbour, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Oregon, focused on supporting individuals and families facing housing instability, limited access to care, or challenging transitions.

Through this collaboration, SkyStone Vale provides low-cost and crisis-based camping access, including no-cost stays for individuals in urgent situations. Unity Harbour utilizes the site to pilot supportive programs and build momentum toward future long-term community initiatives.

Together, we’re modeling how purpose-aligned infrastructure can support nonprofit missions—blending practical land use with compassion-centered service, without compromising sustainability or intent.
