Angela Archer and Carmen Broesder came together with a shared vision: to create community-focused, sustainable solutions for people in need. SkyStone Vale LLC was born from that vision—a for-profit business model rooted in compassion, purpose, and social impact.
Angela brings years of experience in business operations and a strong drive to create positive change. Carmen, with her background in nonprofit management and deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations, envisioned a bridge between housing, healing, and independence.
Together, they combined their strengths to create campgrounds and eventual farm stays that are more than just places to stay—they’re spaces designed to uplift, empower, and restore dignity.
🤝 Our Partner: Unity Harbour
We are proud to partner with Unity Harbour, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Oregon. Unity Harbour works to support unhoused individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities, pregnant-capable people, and others fleeing systemic oppression.
Through this collaboration, SkyStone Vale offers reduced-rate camping, including free spaces for those in crisis. Unity Harbour receives the benefits—not profits—from this partnership, using the site as a launchpad for larger, long-term support centers.
Together, we’re building a model that shows how for-profit infrastructure can power nonprofit missions—without compromising purpose.
